Selecting Transition Effects

Slide transition effects control how a slide appears during a slide show. Slides can appear in pieces, in strips, or all at once.


Add the Same Transitions to all slides:

1. Click the Slide Sorter button or select Slide Sorter from the View menu.
2. Pull down the Slide Show menu and select Slide Transition or select the Slide Transition button on the Slide Sorter toolbar.
3. A Slide Transition task pane opens on the right side of the window.
4. Select the transition that you want and click the Apply to All Slides button.

Add Different Transitions between slides:

If you want to add different transitions between slides, repeat the following process for each slide that you want to add a different transition to.

1. On the Slides tab in Normal View, Slides Tab in Normal Viewselect the slides you want to add the transitions to.

2. On the Slide Show menu, click Slide Transition.
3. In the list, click the transition effect you want.
