Applying Animation Effects

Apply an Animation Scheme

Adding animations to a slide show helps to create a sense of movement and increases the visual appeal of the presentation. Powerpoint provides a wide array of animation schemes. You can animate text, graphics, sounds, movies, and other slide objects.

Procedures:

1. Switch to Normal View.
2. Go to the slide containing the object you want to animate.
3. Select the object you want to animate.
4. Pull down the Slide Show menu, and select Animation Schemes from the menu. The Slide Design task pane opens with the Animation Schemes displayed.
5. In the Slide Design task pane, under Apply to selected slides, click the desired effect.
4. If you want to apply the scheme to all slides, click the Apply to all Slides button.
