New Presentation Options

  • You should select the Blank and recent presentation option when you want total control over your presentation and do not need any assistance with the look or content.

  • When you want to produce a quick, well-designed presentation and you need help with ideas for the content, you should select the Installed Templates option.
  • To select a predefined look, you should select the Installed Themes option.
  • If you have access to the Internet, you can choose any of the several templates under the Microsoft Office Online option. A template is a file that contains the styles in a presentation, including the type and size of bullets and fonts, placeholder sizes and positions, background design and fill color schemes, and theme information.
Procedures:

1. Click on the Office button, then select the New function.

2. Click on the template link that you would like or click on Blank presentation under the Blank and recent section, and click on Create.

**Once a presentation has been created, you can select the Open link under the Office button and navigate to where you originally saved it or you can choose the presentation under the most Recent Documents in the Office button menu.
