Assignment 6: Preparing
Images for Color Correction.
The objective of this exercise is to prepare three of your images for the next
exercise which will focus on color correction.
- Pick the best and two worst images from your assigment (#3) using White
Balance settings.
- Resize these three images to 3 X 5" or if some are vertical, size them
so that all 3 will fit on a 8.5 X 11" piece of paper. Save them as PSD
files.
- Set resolution to 300 PPI for printing.
- Keeping the original images, make a composite of the three images with
a title of Three Originals, and print it out. These will be the before
correction set. If working in the lab, color should be just about right.
Let me know if it is off. Also, I have some good matte paper that you can
use so that you get a good quality print. Don't forget to set the paper
type, highest quality, and Epson Natural Color in the print dialog box.
Paper and ink is expensive, so get it right the first time.
Don't turn this in yet. Turn it in with the next exercise.
