| Course Description: | This course is
designed to meet the needs of the Allied Health Student and the general
education student alike. The
major aim of this course is to help the student acquire relevant
information about nutrition which they can use professionally and/or
personally. The course will
cover the practical aspects of normal nutrition, ways to promote sound
eating habits throughout the life cycle, and physiological contributions
nutrients make to body structure and function. |
| Date, Time, and Place | Online January 30- May 21, 2013 This class meets entirely online. Students will be required to complete assigned readings, 3 online discussions, 5 exams, 17 homework exercises, 2 in-depth assignments, and 8 infocompetency modules. There will be weekly due dates and students may logon to complete work at any time during day or night. |
