INTRODUCTION
TO THE SOCIAL SCIENCES:
HISTORY, ECONOMICS, POLITICAL SCIENCE
This class will introduce you to key concepts, principles, frameworks and issues in the major social science disciplines of history, economics, and political science for a broad overview. Development of research, reasoning, writing, topical reading, and critical analytical skills germane to politics, economics, and social change will be emphasized so you build skills to evaluate contemporary policies and practices of governments, groups, and individuals.
