The Gallery Report is a short, descriptive essay of a actual trip to an art gallery featuring ceramic work, not an online gallery. As valuable as websites are they are not a substitute to experiencing artwork (especially 3-d work) in person. The report should be typed and approximately 1-2 pages, double spaced. The report should include the following information:

1) The date of the visit

2) The name of the gallery or museum

3) The location of the gallery or museum

4) The description of 3 ceramic works or groups of work. This is to include the Titles of the artwork, the name of the artist, the medium and process of firing and a discussion of what you think is the intention of the artist and concept of each of the 3 works.

5) Close with your feelings or reactions to the work.
