Using Option Buttons

Option buttons (or radio buttons) enable you to make a single choice from a list of possible command options. For example, the Print Range options displayed in figure below enable you to choose which pages of your document you want to print. The active option (the Pages option in the figure below) is indicated by the small filled-in circle.

To select an option button with the mouse, click the circle for the option you want.
To use the keyboard, press Alt + selection letter for the option you want. For example, press Alt + G to activate the Pages option.
Or open the Print dialog box, use the Tab key to navigate to the Page Range section and use the arrow keys to make your selection or to choose the option button. Tab to the Apply button to accept the selection.

Procedures:

1. Open the Start menu.
2. Click on the Programs menu.

3. Click on the Accessories submenu.
4. Click on the program called Wordpad.
5. Click on the File menu and select the Print function or use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + P) to open the Wordpad Print dialog box.

6. Try clicking or tabbing through the various option buttons.
7. Choose the Cancel command button to close the Print dialog box.
