AH 180 Basic Information |
| Welcome to the |
Because finding reliable current information is so important in the medical field, we are offering these modules to help you. And because of the huge amounts of information available now on the Internet, with everyone trying to sell you magic pills and potents, you'll need help. Hopefully these modules will be fast and easy for you to finish. They are designed to go along with your class material, and to provide you with extra resources for the topics covered in class. |
| There are a total of ten modules, with a quiz for each one. The quizzes are worth 5 points each, and these points will be part of your grade for your AH180 class. Due dates for the quizzes are always on Tuesdays, at 11:55 pm (5 minutes before midnight). Dana Young, our Gavilan Library reference librarian, will be demonstrating the modules and quiz pages. She will show you the details about logging in, looking at the modules, taking the quizzes, and checking your grades. Please don't miss this demonstration. If you do, please find Dana in the library (most days from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm at the reference desk) and ask her for help. You can only take these quizzes online, and if you get stuck or can't remember how to log into the classroom, you'll miss out on 50 points for your class. You can email her at dyoung@gavilan.edu or call her at 408 848 4806. |
| If you have any questions about the modules themselves, or if you'd like to challenge the quiz questions, please email the author of the modules, Jo Anne Howell, at jhowell@gavilan.edu |
Good luck and have a great time!
