E-mail: evenable @ gavilan.edu
Office Hours: I am in the computer lab in BU110 Tuesday 12-3pm, Thursday 12-3pm, Friday 11-2pm.

Campus web address: http://www.gavilan.edu

The web site is good place to look for a wide variety of information, such as college catalog, course description, phone numbers, etc.

Texts & Materials: HTML Complete Concepts and Techniques by Shelly, Cashman, & Woods, Third Edition, Course Technology, (ISBN 0-619-25502-1) or the newer Fourth edition: (ISBN 1-4188-5936-2) The two editions are very similar but the third edition is much cheaper. You may use either the third or fourth edition of this book.
There are three version of this book, which vary in regard to the amount of material the books cover. The versions are Introductory (not enough for this class), Complete (needed for this class), and Comprehensive (more than needed for this class, but ok). So be careful and do not buy the smaller Introductory version since it does not have enough material for this class. You cannot take this class with out the required textbook since I give you assignments out of the book. You also need a floppy disk or USB drive to save your work each week, especially if you plan to work at home and in the lab.

You do not need a computer at home to do this class; you can do your work from almost any computer with an internet connection.
You may use the lab in BU110, which is open Monday-Thurs 9-3pm, Friday 9-2pm. I'm in BU110 to help you on Tuesday 12-3pm, Thursday 12-3pm, Friday 11-2pm. Help is also available in the computer lab at the Morgan Hill site on Sunday evenings from 4-8pm.
