MLA Exercises for Essay #4 - Research

Go to the Diana Hacker website at www.dianahacker.com/writersref
Click on "Electronic Research Exercises" then on "MLA".
Complete the following ten exercises:

Thesis Statments in MLA papers: MLA 1-1
Avoiding Plagiarism in MLA papers:  MLA 2-1, MLA 2-2, MLA 2-3
Recognizing Common Knowledge in MLA papers:  MLA 2-4
Integrating Quotations in MLA papers:  MLA 3-1, MLA 3-2
MLA Documentation:  MLA 4-1, MLA 4-2, and MLA 4-3.

In order to receive credit for these exercises, you will need to get at least 80% on each one. You can do the exercises as many times as necessary to get the required 80%.

When you're finished with the exercises, come back to this space, and type me a note telling me what you thought of these exercises, and whether you'd recommend that I keep them for next semester.
