CGD 9 Advanced Technical Applications II

CGD 9 is the final of two advanced CGD courses. Students' finalize work within their portfolios of products they develop and design to demonstrate competencies related to their career goals. Work within a portfolio presents projects that demonstrate advanced CGD proficiency. CGD advanced projects have included buildings, electronic devices, vehicles, furniture, appliances, or other products that relate to a student's career goal. Final presentations use computer aided design and modeling to communicate design ideas. Their presentations illustrate they are able to solve technical problems using industry standards while incorporating elements and principles of design into their work. Portfolios communicate their design solutions serve the needs of prospective clients and show how to manufactured and use products.
