CGD 8 Advanced Technical Applications I
CGD 8 is the first of two advanced CGD courses. Students' finalize work within their portfolios of products they develop and design to demonstrate competencies related to their career goals. Work within a portfolio presents projects that demonstrate advanced CGD proficiency projects have included electronic devices, furniture, buildings, appliances, vehicles or other products that relate to a student's career goal. Students' presentations use computer aided design and modeling to communicate their ideas. Their presentations illustrate they are able to solve technical problems using industry standards and incorporate elements and principles of design into their work. Portfolios communicate their design solutions serve the needs of prospective clients and show how to manufactured and use products.
